INSTRUCTIONS FOR VOLUNTEERS
Sunday 06th MAY 2012
- All volunteers are encouraged to arrive by the public transport provided. If you must arrive by motor vehicle, please carpool as much as possible and enter the airport via the northern entry (roundabout).
- Wear your Rotary Club shirt and Name Badge.
- Volunteers will need the STAFF CAR PARK PASS displayed on dashboard to gain access to the Airshow Grounds.
- All volunteers are to enter via the Exhibitor Entry Gate next to the Aerial Patrol to sign on as a Rotary insurance protected volunteer.CLICK HERE FOR MAP
- When you sign in yu will receive a wrist band and a safety vest (where appropriate).
- Return to the Rotary Display Tent near the exhibitor entrance CLICK HERE FOR MAP at the end of each rostered shift to sign-off and return equipment.
- Please attend promptly at your appointed duties as ot is along day and all of usappreciate relief so we cn relax and enjoy the Air Show.
- Each Rotarian is entitled to a free companion pass so please ask them to report to the same entrance gate and identify them selves and they will be issues witha free entry
- For your SAFETY AND COMFORT, please ensure you:
- Slip, Slop, Slap…
- Slip on appropriate clothing (wear your Rotary Club Shirt)
- Slop on a good quality sunscreen
- Slap on a hat (preferably broad brimmed)
- Wear closed in footwear.
- Bring a water bottle.
- Bring your mobile phone
- Call Rotarian David Swan on 0407268777 if you need help.
- For those volunteers attending the Croom Rd Display Car entry gates first thing in the morning SEE MAP CLICK HERE, they should ARRIVE THERE BY 7.30am.
- Once the display cars have left the Albion Park Showground and pass through the southern entry gates and made their way to the air show, the volunteers RUNNING THE RV and the entry gates are requested to return to the airport ane move to the other dutues as organised.If in doubt please return to the Rotary tent.
